Rocket Robin Hood
Shamus Culhane was the executive producer of this 1966 series from Toronto's
Trillium Productions. Set in the year 3000, the series blended the
twelfth-century British outlaw, Robin Hood, with thirty-first century
intergalactic crime fighting. Financed by Krantz Films, the series presented
three adventures in each half-hour episode. Featured on this DVD are the
following black and white episodes: "The
Sad, Sad Sheriff of N.O.T.T.", "The Great Jewel Robbery", and "Our
Sheriff The Hero". Plus two color episodes, "The Zap Trap"
and "Shooting The Works".
The Mighty Hercules
Produced and directed by Joseph Oriolo for Adventure Cartoons for Television
and Trans-Lux, this series was originally syndicated in 1963. Featuring a
memorable theme song written and sung by Johnny Nash, this series presented the
adventures of the mythological Greek hero from Mount Olympus, Hercules. Along
with Newton (the half-boy, half-horse) and the beautiful maiden Helena, the
Mighty Hercules protects the Learien Valley from the evil Daedalius and his cat
Dydo. Episodes on this DVD: "Pandora's Box", "The
Silver Arrows", "The Evil Sea Witch", "The
Magic Belt of Hercules", "The Errand of Mercy", "The
Neamean Lion", "Timon to the Aid of Hercules", "The

Johnny Cypher in Dimension Zero
Also featured on this DVD is "The Hidden Peril", an episode of Joe Oriolo's Johnny Cypher in Dimension Zero, originally syndicated by Seven Arts in 1967.
