The Crazy Comedy Concert - Starring Tim Conway and Ruth Buzzi. Originally seen in 1974. This ABC Afterschool Special from Hanna-Barbera Productions is a story about a maintenance man (Conway) and a cleaning lady (Buzzi) working at the Hollywood Bowl. When Conway goes up to the podium he sees music from Strauss' Die Fledermaus and when he picks up the baton, "POOF", the show goes into animation with an animated Conway and Buzzi acting out the opera. Other instrumental numbers done are, Verdi's Anvil Chorus, Mozart's Symphony #40 in g minor, The William Tell Overture, The 1812 Overture and many more.
The Trouble With Miss Switch - Originally seen in two-parts in February, 1980. Ruby-Spears Enterprises produced this ABC Weekend Special about a good witch disguised as a school teacher. In the story, Miss Switch is threatened with banishment due to her outdated witchcraft. To save herself she must enlist the help of two students, Rupert and Amelia, to carry out a plan to foil Saturna, a bad witch, and become a witch in good standing again. Voices are done by Janet Waldo, Eric Taslitz, Nancy McKeon and June Foray.
